Writing on the River
Located at the confluence of three rivers, the quaint city of La Crosse is a delight in the heart of the Driftless region. This once-prominent lumber town is home to colleges, breweries, one of the biggest Oktoberfest celebrations in the USA, and the inspiration for your next novel.

La Crosse is one of the places we call home. It's comfortable, yet beautiful. We find endless inspiration in our experiences here and want to share that with you.
Who should attend?
This workshop is a wonderful opportunity for creatives of all types and experiences to grow their artistic skills and connect with other creative individuals. Attendees will also have the opportunity to speak 1-on-1 with our guest speakers, including artists, editors, and writers. Visit our website for updates on this year’s guests.

Travel Information
Driving: La Crosse is located directly off Interstates 90/94.
Train: Amtrak service is available via Chicago and Minneapolis on the Empire Builder line.
Flights: La Crosse Regional Airport (LSE) is located about 15 minutes from downtown and provides daily connections from Chicago O’Hare (ORD) via American Airlines. The Minneapolis airport (MSP) is the located about 2 hours from LaCrosse.
Transportation is not included in your package. If you need assistance with transportation needs including transfer from the airport or train station please contact us.
